"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

I'm a musician as well as an artist, of which I have web sites for both. I am also a Christian. My art background goes back to being an art major at VA TECH (I know its an ag/engineering school, but they REALLY had an art department) way back in 1984-85. From there I took private lessons off and on and did a lot of waterfowl art, being the big thing in my area. Used to do oils, watercolors, and drawings. I discovered Corel Painter and Wacom 4 years ago, and haven't picked up a real brush since. Historical, landscape, and graphics have been my thing for subject matter. Being a Christian, I also paint Christ themed art. Recently I've done a few portraits and am getting my feat wet with sci-fi art, which I've always loved. Look for most of my submissions in the future to be in that genre.
